Construction Volunteers

DuPage Habitat for Humanity builds affordable homes using volunteer labor. We are extremely grateful for our volunteers who donate their time. However, we also need to raise funds in order to cover the cost of land acquisition, building materials and site supervision.

DuPage Habitat depends on the financial support of volunteer groups to help defray the rising cost of construction. Therefore, most of the hands-on construction opportunities are reserved for teams of volunteers from businesses, faith-based groups and other organizations that support DuPage Habitat financially. For information on getting your group involved, click on Group Construction Opportunities. LINK

Individuals interested in construction can volunteer in several ways depending on their skill level and desired time commitment. as a crew leader, as a general construction volunteer, or as a construction committee member.
