Our Current Builds We just finished the process of rehabilitating a home in unincorporated Glen Ellyn and are in the final stages of a home in Westmont. Both homes have a family that has helped with the work on these homes. We are eagerly looking forward to the completion of Westmont home in spring of 2008.  We are also in the site selection process for two homes that will be either built or rehabed in 2008. If you know of a house or land that we can obtain with a low up front cost, please contact Jon at the DuPage Habitat office with details.   Here are some pictures of our recent progress. The Glen Ellyn House was sponsored by Gleaner Life and ComEd. It is our first green build with energy efficient heating and other measures to conserve resources. Here some volunteers are laying sidewalk for the Glen Ellyn house.  The Westmont house is being sponsored by a group of churches in Elmhurst. It will be refurbished to meet the special needs of a member of the family that will take ownership upon completion. This is a general site shot taken November 3rd. Since then, a new concrete driveway was donated and laid.
