What is Women Build?
The 2015 DuPage Habitat for Humanity Women Build is an opportunity for women to come together and build homes, communities and hope for families
in need! The mission of Women Build is simple - to recruit, educate and nurture women to build and advocate for simple, decent and affordable housing
in their communities. Volunteers of every skill level are welcome. We will teach, support and train all participants on the build site!
Where is it?
The construction will take place at our Pioneer Prairie Subdivision located near 653 Sherman Street in West Chicago.
to view a map of the location with additional directions for your convenience. Community Builders will begin at 8 am and complete their projects around
3:30 pm on Sept. 12 and 19. Corporate Builders will start their work day at the traditional time of 7:30 am and end around 3:30 pm on Sept. 14 -18 build dates.
All tools, safety gear and training will be provided on site. Get excited to give back with a group of energetic women!
When is it?
Community Women Build Days: September 12 & 19
Individuals and teams are asked to raise $250 or more per person to help fund the cost of building materials and Women Build t-shirts for your work-day.
Every individual that raises $250+ will receive a 2015 Women Build shirt, and additional recognition prizes are available for Team Captains and outstanding
Corporate Women Build Days: September 14 – 18
Corporate Women Build Teams are asked to donate $3,000 for each group of 10 volunteers to fund the cost of building materials
and 2015 Women Build t-shirts for your work-day.
